We're sorry to hear about the metal buckle failing on you.
That's one of the reasons all of our new WREKD BEAST straps are running the seamless zinc-coated buckle. Now have these straps in 230x16mm which although its a bit heavier and wider than the Vroom strap, it shouldn't cause you any issues with failures.
